Every workspace you have inside of VidSell can be custom branded on your own domain to fit your video business, and your domain will apply to every area you utilize inside of VidSell including your flows, courses, and community.
Setting up your custom domain is simple with a few steps:
How to connect your custom domain in VidSell
Step 1: In the workspace settings area, click on domain and enter the domain you plan to use and click "Start Setup".
We recommend using a name that can be generic enough that it would be applicable for all of the areas you plan to use it for. So for example if you plan on selling with flows and building an online community, choosing a subdomain like go.yourbrand.com could be generic enough to apply to both areas.
Step 2: Please ensure your domain is pointing to the record(s) shown on the screen. You can can do this in your domain registrar dashboard or DNS management tool.
Note: If you are using CloudFlare, then please make certain to disable the proxy and use "DNS only".
Propagation normally takes a few minutes (however in rare cases can take up to 48 hours). You can check the propagation of your records using services like DNScheck.org.
Step 3: after your DNS records are propagated, then click "Check DNS". This process can take a couple moments to set up your domain and assign an SSL certificate. In lesser common situations, additional review may be required from a team member for domain verification. If this happens, a prompt should display on the screen and a team member should be following up with you within 48 hours.
Step 4: Once successful you can click the "Finalize Setup" button to run a test to determine if you can safely navigate to the new domain and see the app running inside.
Now that you're connected and verified, we strongly recommend also setting up your new email sending domain so that you can send custom branded email invitations to your community members as well.
